Sharing Your Meal Plan & Our Food Allergy Meal Plan

Freezer-Friendly Baked Oatmeal Cakes that I’d like to get to this week.

—————————-

On the meal plan I posted 2 weeks ago, a reader left a comment sharing her meal plan for the week.  From this comment, I was able to get the Taco Chicken Wing recipe that we’re having for dinner tonight.  I want to encourage you to also share your meal plan either in the comments or leave a link back to your blog with your meal plan.  It doesn’t matter if it’s just a few dishes you hope to have this week or if it’s a full week’s worth of 3 squares a day.  Furthermore, it doesn’t have to be a food allergy-specific meal plan either.  You might share some great inspiration with others, including myself.  Besides, I always love to see what everyone else is enjoying this week!  :)

Happy {Healthy} Eating!!!

Our Food Allergy Meal Plan for the Week of September 9, 2012

Sunday: Rummaging…we just got back into town from a wedding weekend, so we rummaged for a few things to fill our tummies.

Monday:  Taco Chicken Wings w/ Guac Dip with Mexican brown rice and Green Salad w/ Citrus Vinaigrette – Really, what more can I say? This recipe looks amazing. Instead of wings, I’ll just use chicken legs already in the freezer.

Tuesday:  Chicken Pot Pie – This is my recipe experiment for the week as I attempt a gluten, dairy, egg, soy, corn, etc.-free version.  Wish me luck :)  We start back to kids club at church tonight, so I hope to be able to get this recipe done before we head out the door.

Wednesday:  Pizza Night – We tested a leftover of my gluten-free flatbread/tortilla recipe (coming soon on MSM) as a personal pizza crust and worked fantastically! The kids requested a pizza night this week.  I use the Daiya cheese for the dairy-free variety, but we’ll all use the gf crust.

Thursday:  Chicken Cacciatore – This is my sister-in-laws recipe and I’ve been eyeing it ever since she posted it.  Mmmm…I can’t wait!

Friday:  Steak, Classic Baked Beans, Steamed Vegebles – Or after a busy week of cooking and some new activites starting. We may just eat whatever we can find!

Saturday:  40th Birthday Party celebration for a sweet friend. I’ll whip up something easy for the kids before a babysitter arrives, but my husband and I will be eating at the party.

What’s on your meal plan this week?

P.S. I think a new Willing Cook allergy-friendly recipe is scheduled to go up at Money Saving Mom this week, perhaps Saturday.  As usual, I will have a snippet of that post here to share with all of you.  I promise that this recipe will knock your socks off :)
