Sweetened Clove Ham
Choose a Cook's bone-in sliced ham, shank or butt portion, for best result.
- 10-15 pounds Cook's bone-in ham
- 1/3 cups cloves, whole
- 3/4 cups brown sugar
- 2 cups water
- 1 cans orange juice, frozen concentrate
Place ham in a roasting pan.
Push whole cloves into exterior of ham, evenly distributed. Pack on brown sugar. Pour on water and thawed orange juice concentrate.
Cover roasting pan with aluminum foil.
Bake at 350 degrees for 4 to 5 hours (about 20-30 minutes per pound), until meat thermometer reads 160 degrees.
