Our Food Allergy Home Meal Plan, New Year Edition

I am slowly inching back into blogging this week after a much enjoyed break.  I have barely turned on my computer…seriously! This week will be a little slow as well with today’s meal plan post and Allergy-Free Wednesdays on January 2.

I trust that your new year’s eve celebrations will be enjoyable and safe.  I have a great selection of party-friendly, and of course, allergy-friendly dishes to add to any festivity.  Here are a few of our favorites:  Cocktail Meatballs, Gluten & Dairy Free Crispy PizzaMongolian Beef, Potato Nachos, Molten Chocolate Lava Cake (crockpot version), Milano-ish Cookies.  Let me know if I can help you turn a party favorite into an allergy-safe favorite.

Happy New Year!!!

December 30, 2012-January 6, 2013

Sunday:  Bean Soup with leftover Ham Hock, leftover Crunchy Cabbage Salad

Monday:  We’re spending New Year’s Eve with some friends who moved far away last summer. It will be a great time with them before they head back to their new home.  I’m taking 2 dishes that are not at all allergy friendly, Pioneer Woman’s Texas Sheet Cake and Barbecue-Bacon Party Spread (If you can have dairy, you have to try this taco dip. It’s the best I’ve ever had!).  I’ll bring something else along for my boys.

Tuesday: Empty-the-Fridge Veggie ChapChae

Wednesday: Chicken Marsala

Thursday: Potato Nachos made with Sweet Potatoes

Friday: Refrigerator Round-up {or whatever happens upon our plates}

Saturday:  Date Night — YAY!  We’ll be having a special dinner for a certain someone’s birthday! 🙂

What is on your meal plan for the first week of 2013?
