Dairy Ingredient List

My husband suggested that I post the ingredient lists for the top allergens so that readers can find this resource very easily all in one place.  I agree with him, as it was a daunting task to me 6 years ago when there were far fewer resources.  I will post all of these lists in the side bar under “Must Read” for quick reference.

When doing my research for this post, I came across Go Dairy Free’s dairy ingredient list that is very thorough.  I am posting the “definitely dairy ingredients” list here as well as the link to Go Dairy Free where you can read up on it more fully.  The website lists other precautions for ingredients that may potentially contain dairy, as well as “surprisingly dairy-free ingredients”.  It also discusses more fully the rules for kosher labeling.

As always, this is for informational purposes only.  You MUST read all labels, every time!

      Crafty Mama,

You are very welcome! I know when my son was first diagnosed with his food allergies, that everything was very overwhelming. It’s nice to have all necessary information in one location. That is what I hope to do here at The Willing Cook. Feel free to ask questions as you charter this new water.

      Michelle
