Allergy-Free Wednesdays: September 5, 2012

Welcome to Allergy-Free Wednesday!

Have I told you how much I look forward to AFW every week?  There is so much inspiration in the food allergy community!  In fact, you can see my post from last week entitled “Recipe Inspiration: Chicken Fajitas with Gluten-Free Tortillas” because very little of one of our favorite new dinner dishes is derived from me.  Thank you to each and every one of you who makes this journey a little more bearable for everyone!

Almond Joy Pie from Cuter Than Gluten  (How can you not love this?)

Thank you so much, Michelle! I really appreciate it. I love just about anything Thai, too. :0)

  7. Thank you for featuring my coconut pie! I hope you get a chance to make it some day.

I’ll definitely be making the recipe soon. I wonder if I can pull off your cute scene though 🙂 Thanks again for sharing!

  8. Popped over to check on you, and boy has your link up grown!! Congrats, friend! I’m smiling thinking about how I’m surrounded by allergy-free, healthy, geniuses in the kitchen! I’m always telling y’all about the other. 🙂 Hope you are well! Hugs.

    • Cook says:

Ah, sweet Ruth, it is so good to see you pop in! You always manage to bring a smile to my face and a bit of warming to my heart. Thank you for your kind words and for sharing my little space with others. We’re doing well over here, just moving along busy as usual. I trust all 6 of your little ones are doing well! 🙂 I was just talking to my husband again tonight about Allume. I’m hoping to get an answer from him by the end of the weekend. I may have some family join me, so I have to make sure I can get a ticket first. Oh what joy it would be to me to finally meet you face to face. Be well, dear friend!

      • I was wondering about Allume….please keep me posted! I pray you will feel confident about your decision…either way! God’s timing is always perfect.

        • Cook says:

I put myself on the waiting list for a ticket. There is no use in making a lot of plans if I can’t get a ticket. The biggest hurdle is childcare for my 3 kids. Anyway, I’m making some decisions about bible studies this school year and I was wondering if you have given any more thought to going through a book again? I loved Feminine Appeal! No pressure. I’m just thinking through what (or rather, how much) my schedule will allow. Thanks!
