Allergy-Free Wednesdays: September 19, 2012

Welcome to Allergy-Free Wednesdays!

The format of AFW featured recipes is changing a bit.  We have decided to only feature the most viewed link as the reader favorite, instead of the top three.  This allows for some really special highlighting out there in the community.  Second, we decided early on that we would never feature any of the host’s links either in our personal features or as reader favorites, but we’re changing that as well.  Everyone works so hard to produce the best they can for the Food Allergy community and we need to acknowledge those accomplishments as we see fit.  We trust that works for all of you that link up every week and are so supportive of AFW!

~Willing Cook Features~

Light & Rich Southern Caramel Cake from Num Yum & Free (Uh…ya!)

Dairy Free Muffin Tin Donuts from Milk Allergy Mom (We love donuts but don’t have a donut pan, so this recipe is right up my alley.)

Natural Cold Remedies from Yummy Inspirations  (I have seasonal allergies turned nasty cold here, so I was glad to have this post right in the nick of time.)

~Reader Favorite~

Gluten-Free German Chocolate Cake with Dairy-Free Topping from Gluten-Free Flavor-Full  (I think this recipe deserves a standing ovation!)

Grab the AFW button off the sidebar to share on your site.  Thanks for being a part of the Allergy-Friendly Community and spreading the word!

Allergy-Free Wednesdays is a blog hop dedicated to allergy-free living and eating.  You can share your allergy-free recipes, knowledge about allergy-related topics/issues, and connect with others within the allergy community.  We hope you will glean much from your time spent here.

This blog hop is hosted by myself and four other allergy-friendly bloggers.  When you link up your post below, it will automatically appear on all 7 blogs! Each of us will choose a favorite recipe/post to feature each week, so be sure to check in every Wednesday.  Allergy-Free Wednesdays is hosted by…

Adrienne @ Whole New Mom

Amber @ The Tasty Alternative

Janelle @ Gluten Freely Frugal

Laura @ Gluten Free Pantry

Michelle @ The Willing Cook (that’s me!)

Nancy @ Real Food, Allergy Free

Tessa @ Tessa the Domestic Diva

Thanks for sharing your “featured on AFW” button with your readers. It’s such a great way to get the word out about our food allergy community. Keep up the great {and yummy} work! Being from the south, I can’t wait to make this cake!

  3. Aw, thanks so much for the feature…despite my donuts being “decorated by kids”. 😉 I have a cuter picture of “mom decorated donuts” to put up on my blog soon. But isn’t it the kids’ work that is always most fun?! 😉 Thanks again! I look forward to participating more!

I can’t say that I’m too picky on how a donut is decorated. They don’t last long enough to admire 🙂 Thanks again for linking up with us!!!
