Welcome to Allergy Free Wednesdays!
My goodness, how is it already August?! I love the last few months and the couple ahead of us. Not so much the return to school, but the cool crisp fall nights and wonderful flavors that accompany the season. But, I’m holding onto summer as long as I can! Tomorrow is your last chance to enter the giveaway for the wonderful children’s book Barrett’s Unusual Ice Cream Party. You don’t want to miss out on this wonderful book – give it to a child, teacher, or library as a gift.

Amanda,
I can’t wait to try out the Cake Batter Mug Cake. Thank you for sharing it with us! I checked out your blog and you have a lovely little piece of space there. Congratulations on Baby White! And, I agree with you on real life fairy tales, there is nothing better than the only true One!
We hope you’ll continue to share at AFW!

Thanks for highlighting my Butter Pecan Balls! They’re delicious and super, super easy
Happy Wednesday Michelle!
I can’t believe we’re at August already either. It’s quite scary really! Except I’m really looking forward to making some delicious fall recipes… pumpkin bread has been on the brain recently.
Today I linked up a recipe from my most recent post “Experiencing Freedom in Life & Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies (whole grain & sugar-free)”. I get a little philosophical in the post but I threw in a peanut butter cookie recipe so things wouldn’t get too deep!
I made ‘em with spelt, xylitol, chia seeds, and flaxseeds (plus a few other things too). Allergy note: these can be made with roasted almond butter instead of the peanut butter if needed.
Have a lovely week and as always, thank you for hosting us!
Gabriela
I can’t wait to check out your post, Gabriela! It’s sounds both interesting and great tasting! Thanks for sharing with us again this week.
