Allergy-Free Wednesdays: April 17, 2013

Welcome to Allergy-Free Wednesdays!

I’m so thrilled to still be a part of AFW although I’ve stepped away from regular blogging for a time.  It definitely was the right decision for our family for the time being.  There are a couple of recipes that I want to post and hope to do that soon.  So, stay tuned and I appreciate your continued support of The Willing Cook!

~Willing Cook Features~

Triple Chocolate Salted Caramel Brownies from Vegan Richa {How did you balance that brownie on the glass? Really, Richa, that is an impressive picture…the recipe is impressive too!}

Sticky Chicken from Cassidy’s Craveable Creations {I may change some of the ingredients but it’s a great starter recipe for me to try!}

Classic French Creme Brulee from Sarah of The Sweet Life’s guest recipe at Vegan Richa {I absolutely love creme brulee but never thought about how to make an allergy-friendly version.  I can’t wait to give this recipe a try!}

Chocolate Cream Pie from Sandi’s Allergy Free Recipes {I like the simplicity of this allergy-friendly chocolate pie recipe!}

~Reader Feature~

Thick Raw Lemon Bars from Oatmeal with a Fork {Oh my goodness! I absolutely love Lemon Bars but I’ve had a couple of failed allergy-friendly attempts. This recipe is tops on my list!}

  4. If it’s only just a little tiny bit of “bad,” then does it really matter? Why should someone else be allowed to make that decision for us? I shared a Q&A style post on why we should care about what’s in our food, regardless if the bad stuff is labeled as “dietarily insignificant” by the FDA. Thanks for hosting!!
